I agree to the terms and conditions of this application.

• A permit will be issued for a fee of $10.00 which entitles bearer to sell CD or tape recordings at the 2007 Northwest Folklife Festival.
• Bearer agrees to not set up in areas designated as “off limits;” to not erect any structure, rack, display case or sign not contained in a conventional musical instrument case; to not amplify sound electronically; and to not set up within 30 feet of a captive audience;
• Bearer agrees to neither block public walkways, nor cause any public inconvenience, nor jeopardize public safety.
• Bearer agrees to sell only recordings on which s/he performs.
• Bearer agrees to pay Northwest Folklife 15% of all sales net of tax and to complete a Commission Envelope each Festival day reporting each day’s sales, net of tax and calculating 15% commission. Bearer agrees to put cash or check in the envelope in the amount of the commission and place it each day in a locked donation box. Bearer may mail envelope and commission check.
• Bearer agrees to indemnify and hold Northwest Folklife, Seattle Center and the City of Seattle harmless from any and all losses, claims, actions, damages and expenses arising out of its performance or lack of performance under this permit. Bearer assumes all risk of loss or damage to Bearer’s property at any time while on Seattle Center grounds except in the event of the sole negligence of Northwest Folklife, City of Seattle or Seattle Center.
• Bearer certifies that s/he holds a valid City of Seattle Business License or has paid $20 to Northwest Folklife for a temporary business license.
• Non-compliance with the terms of this permit may result in its revocation at the sole discretion of Northwest Folklife.
• Bearer is responsible for all city and state taxes.
• The permit is non-transferable.
