When does the Festival begin and end each day?
Festival programming begins at 11am and concludes at 10pm from Friday until Sunday. The Festival runs from 11am until 9pm on Monday. Food vendor hours may vary.
I like the souvenir guide better than using an online tool. Where can I find one?
You can pick up a guide at many libraries, or by visiting the Folklife offices at 158 Thomas St, third floor, in Seattle. Become a Friend of Folklife and have one delivered to your door!
You can also download a PDF of the guide and print it at home.
2016 Festival Guide coming soon.
Getting the guide in the Seattle Times isn’t enough time. Can I pick one up earlier?
Sure! You are welcome to come by the Folklife offices (158 Thomas St, third floor, in Seattle) or stop by one of many local libraries where we deliver guides after May 16. Please note that if guides run out in a location, we may not be able to restock them.
Is Seattle Center wheelchair accessible?
All venues at Seattle Center are wheelchair accessible. If you need a wheelchair at the Festival, a limited number are available at Festival Services located on the third floor of the Armory. These wheelchairs are provided for your use for the entire day. Wheelchairs can also be checked out at the Seattle Center Customer Service Desk on the second floor in the Armory for two hours at a time.
I’m an ASL interpreter. How can I help the Festival?
If you are an ASL interpreter and are interested in volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Xaviera, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Will I be able to find an ATM?
There are 10 ATMs on or near Seattle Center grounds. However, lines can be long; plan ahead if you can.
Where can I get information once I’m at the Festival?
There are eight information booths on Seattle Center grounds during the Festival. These information booths, staffed by knowledgeable volunteers, are your best place to learn about performance schedules, craft vendors, where to eat and much more! Please consult your Festival Guide for info booth locations.
I don’t feel like carrying my belongings with me. Where can I stash my stuff?
A public checkroom is available for your convenience in the Fisher Pavilion Roadhouse. Checkroom hours are Friday–Sunday, 11am–10pm and Monday from 11am–9pm. The cost is $2 for a one-time check and $5 for unlimited access per day.
