Folichon Cajun Band plays traditional “mash down” Cajun dance music. Folichon loves Cajun music and strives to stay true to the real Cajuns who have taken them in and shared their music, culture, and food so generously over the years.
Whozamama, from Bainbridge Island, WA, play in the the Louisiana Creole style. Cajun accordionist Claudette Boudreaux anchors the band, along with Tami Allen on fiddle. The two have developed a close musical style reminiscent of the great Cajun duos of the 1930s. As a full band, they play roof-raisin’ Creole tunes carefully crafted to keep dancers dancing all night!
Swamp Soul have been playing Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco music from Southwest Louisiana for 5 years. They traveled to Louisiana yearly to dance and learn new tunes.
Mark St. Mary Band is a 5 member band from the Bay Area Creole community that plays Traditional Louisiana Blues and Zydeco Music. Accordionist Mark St. Mary follows in the grand tradition of the King of Zydeco, Mr. Clifton Chenier.
