Ride the Folklife Shuttle
Save time, save money, and have a more enjoyable ride to and from this year’s Northwest Folklife Festival. Ride the King County Metro Folklife Shuttle! This year there are two routes to choose from: a southbound route from Northgate, and a northbound route from Renton.
Shuttles operate on Saturday, Sunday and Monday during the Festival.
Board the Northgate shuttle at Bay 5 at the Northgate Transit Center, located on NE 100th Street at 3rd Avenue NE, or along Aurora Avenue North at posted bus stops just south of Northgate Way (N 105th St), or at N 85th, N 76th or N 46th streets. The Northgate shuttle operates approximately every 20 minutes until 8 PM.
Board the Renton shuttle at Bay 1 at the South Renton Park & Ride, at S Grady Way and Shattuck Avenue S. The Renton Folklife shuttle operates approximately every 30 minutes from 9:20 AM until 8 PM, and makes no other stops.
At Seattle Center, board and exit both shuttles eastbound on Mercer Street just east of 3rd Av N. Shuttles depart from Seattle Center about every 20 minutes until the gates close each night.
The cash-only one way shuttle fare is $2.50 per person. Children under 5 ride free with a fare-paying adult. Buses can accommodate bicycles on the outside racks only as space permits.
