Polish Festival Seattle is a joyful celebration of Polish culture, traditions and contemporary achievements. Produced by the Seattle Polish Foundation in partnership with the Seattle Center, and with support from the Polish Home Association, it is part of the year-round Seattle Center Festál Cultural Festivals. The 6th Annual Polish Festival Seattle will be held on July 8, 2017 at the Seattle Center Armory and Mural Amphitheatre, featuring authentic Polish food, live music and dance performances, exhibits, demos and workshops, local merchants, beer garden, and children’s activities. This year’s festival will highlight the vibrant and diverse region of Upper Silesia (Górny Śląsk), its long history of coal mining, rich culture, enterprising business, range of medieval fortresses, and unique natural beauty. It is located in the southeastern part of the historical and geographical region of Silesia in southern Poland.
