Fulgencio Lazo: In Celebration of Immigrant Workers

Fulgencio has created eight, large-scale sculptures in wood celebrating immigrant workers and will give a bilingual Spanish/English artist talk with a special guest speaker on labor history on Wednesday, May 23th at 7PM. The event is free and all are welcome. Come show your support for Seattle’s immigrant communities. The exhibit is open May 1-30th, with gallery hours Friday through Sunday, 4-7PM and by appointment. Special thanks to the City of Seattle Office of Arts and Culture,Casa Latina, Washington State Labor Council, 4Culture and Studio Lazo.

Fulgencio ha creado ocho esculturas en madera celebrando a los trabajadores inmigrantes y dará una charla bilingüe acompañado por un experto en la historia laboral del estado, el miércoles, 23 de mayo a las 7pm. El evento es gratis y todos están bienvenidos. La exposición esta abierta del 1-30 de mayo, los viernes, sábados y domingos de 4-7PM o con cita previa.
