Orkestyr Farfeleh at Crossroads Mall in Bellevue
November 19, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pmFree
Back by popular demand! Northwest Folklife is honored and excited to share the fourth annual series of curated, family-friendly cultural arts performances on the Eastside at Crossroads Bellevue. On the third Saturday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. throughout 2016, Northwest Folklife will program diverse family arts performance experiences, free of charge, on the Crossroads Market Stage.
Orkestyr Farfeleh, the winsome confederation of Harvey Niebulski, Marianne Tatom, and Thaddeus Spae, bring their sharp ears, quick fingers, and irrepressible humor to Crossroads Center for an evening of klezmer and Jewish dancing. Performing on accordion, clarinet, trombone, guitarron, and vocals, and joined by veteran dance leader Bernice Maslan, they present a program of freilachs, Eastern European folk tunes, and Yiddishkeit sure to delight young and old alike.
