UNCODE: Storytellers is a series of live events featuring true, personal stories by Black storytellers from across the Pacific Northwest. In celebration of Juneteenth, selected Black artists, comedians and writers will hit the stage to share stories of freedom – in dating, relocation, religion, career change and other life-altering events. Join UNCODE, KUOW and LANGSTON for an evening of Black stories about what it really means to get free.

Uncoded Media is the local production company behind the ongoing documentary series UNCODE. “Juneteenth: Stories of Freedom and Emancipation” brings UNCODE’s storytellers to the stage.

LANGSTON is the new non-profit arts organization created to continue the mission of the historic Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute.
