Your Ride is Ready.
Get some fresh air and leave your car at home! Try biking or walking to campus from Uptown, South Lake Union, Belltown or Downtown.
There will be a large bike corral located at the Harrison St. entrance. To help plan your trip, visit the Department of Transportation’s Bicycling Guide Map, or see the interactive Google map above which allows you to plan a custom route by bike.
The Seattle Monorail goes directly to Seattle Center from Downtown, and departs approximately every 10 minutes from Westlake Center and Seattle Center. The Monorail runs between Seattle Center station, adjacent to the Space Needle, and Westlake Center Mall station, at 5th Ave. and Pine St.
You can take the elevator or stairs to the Monorail platform or take the escalators through Westlake Center to the third floor. Tickets are available for purchase on the platform, train, or through the Transit Go Ticket mobile app. Click here for more information.
What should I be aware of if I plan to drive to the Festival?
There are some road improvement projects that may affect your usual route to Seattle Center. Please check the SDOT and WSDOT websites for more information and updates.
If you are planning to drive to Seattle Center, carpooling is highly encouraged. Once you arrive, you’ll find two convenient parking garages: Mercer Street and 5th Ave N Garages. We recommend parking at the 5th Ave N Garage if you are traveling on SR-99, 5th Ave N from Downtown or via Denny Way, and the Mercer Street Garage if you’re traveling via Mercer St from I-5 or from Ballard via 15th Ave W.
All lots around Seattle Center have designated accessible parking spots. Please check with a parking attendant if all the available spaces are full. You will also find designated spots on 2nd Ave. N just south of Thomas St. and on Warren Ave. just south of Mercer St.
