Ballet Folklorico de Tacoma

Beginning Bones Playing with Rick Fogel

In 1975, Rick first learned to build and play the dulcimer and bones in Charlottesville, Virginia, after receiving an MA in nuclear physics. He has since founded  Whamdiddle , built hundreds of instruments, performed and taught workshops all over the country, and collaborated with the Seattle Symphony on a movie score and recording.  Learn more

Bollywood Fusion dance with Rangeela Dance Company

Rangeela Dance Company (RDC) is Seattle’s premier Bollywood Fusion dance company founded in 2016 by Priyanka Jain Vora, a trained classical Bharatnatyam dancer and Bollywood dance choreographer. Fraggle Rock Crew is a bboy/bgirl crew that has been performing and teaching for nearly 15 years.  Moving Minds Dance is a dance education program that teaches movement with real-world context for children ages two to nine. All of our dance classes are shaped by guiding themes that change each season.

Alex MacLeod is an old time fiddler, square dance caller, and crankie artist from Seattle. He enjoys getting participants of all ages involved in make-your-own-fun activities. Alex calls or plays for square dances all over the Pacific Northwest, and has started performing crankies, or moving panoramas, at showcases in the region. He is also known for his ability to rapidly sprout both beard and moustache.

Drag Queen Storytime with Aleksa Manila

Social activist by day Drag Queen by night. Since 2013 Drag Queen Storytime with Aleksa Manila has been entertaining children of all ages and celebrating diversity to all families one story at a time. Filipino Community of Seattle (FCS) Kalahi Philippine Dance Company presented by International Examiner

Flamenco dance with Ana Montes

Ana Montes has danced since she was 5 years old. Flamenco dance was her destiny and fills her soul. She studied and performed professionally in Spain for over 10 years. Indigenous Stories and Song with Tloke Nahuake

Join Indigenous Artist and Cultural Educator, Ixtli and her family as they demonstrate their heritage Aztec dancing; which majority of the dances were created as ritual activity, spiritual and religious acts. Ixtlixochitl White Hawk and her family performs at various special events throughout the year and regularly at Pow Wows, so get moving and learn some traditional Aztec dancing!

Puppet Show with The Dancing Peacock Puppet Company

The Dancing Peacock Puppet Company, a part of the Love to Share Foundation of America, uses traditional, string puppetry to narrate stories from East Indian timeless classics. During this 30-minute show, wooden string puppets dressed in bright colors perform amidst wonderful props and backgrounds, accentuated by traditional music in between scenes.
